School Fall Festival

They had fun and so did me and Brent

LLF 2

They love the slides and picking out the perfect pumpkin was not easy!

Lucky Ladd Farms the fall version

We went back to Lucky Ladd Farms the weekend at the end of the girls fall break and we had a great time once again. Our neighbors went with us. The girls could stay here for hours and never get bored.

Camping

While on fall break Brent wanted to take the girls camping for the first time. We only stayed one night and even though we were in a tent, I wouldn't exactly call it roughing it. There was a playground close by and the girls had lots to do. They had a great time and are ready to go again.

Fall pictures

We took the girls out one weekend and tried to get some cute fall pictures of them to use for Christmas cards. The only issue with this is that my girls do not like to be still. They are in constant motion. There were some great photos of each girl but I just wanted to give you a sample of what's to come

Forever Family Day

September 19th was such a bitter sweet day. It was Courtney's 1st Forever Family day anniversary and also my dad's visitation. I wish I had some recent pictures to post of the girls with him but they saw him for the last time the Sunday after Labor day and he passed the following Saturday. The good thing is that he actually opened his eyes and recognized all of us that Sunday morning. Even in the short amount of time they knew him they have really missed him and been affected by his passing. It felt so wrong to be celebrating before going to his visitation but I know we needed to celebrate this very special day for Courtney and dad wouldn't have wanted it any other way. You will always be missed dad.

A Day withThomas

The Sunday before Labor Day Brent got us tickets for a Day with Thomas the train. It was so humid that day but the girls still had a blast. In addition to riding Thomas they also got to play games and do crafts etc. It was a stressful day because early that morning I received a phone call that my dad was in the hospital and was not doing well.
