Courtney's Forever Family Day

4 years! Hard to believe Courtney has been with us for 4 years and at the same time she seems like she has always been here. She has grown so much this year and not just in size she has grown in her security in our family and while she still has issues with being alone it has improved so much. I hope she always knows how much we love her.

Reunion

Our last couple of days were spent relaxing by the lake in Tracy and going to the Wilder Pagent.

Reunion: Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and the Badlands

I loved all of these things. My favorite was Mt Rushmore I can't even put into words how much I loved it and we were there for maybe an hour. Crazy Horse is one of those things that I am glad that I did but it was a bit of a let down probably because you really couldn't get close to it and it is truly so far from finished that I doubt any of us will ever see the finished product.

Reunion 2014

Reunion time with our adoption group!!! This has to be one our favorite times of the year. These people have become like a second family to us and even if we don't talk often and usually only see each other once a year we pick up right where we left off and the kids get along better and better every year. This group of pictures shows one leg of our trip when we were all playing musical cars which did break up the trip. We traveled north this year and spent part of the week in the Black Hills of South Dakota and the second part of the week in Tracy Minnisota. The rest of the pictures from this group are some taken from the train ride we took thru the Black Hills. It was fun and interesting but as you can tell by the picture of Courtney the fun wore off before the end of the ride.
